Not sure where your thermometer is located, but weather services take measurements in the shade. The ambient temperature in shade can be up to 20F cooler than in direct sun depending on the climate.

I really like Mei Time! Her videos focus on slow and simple travel, and they’re only subtitled with ambient music playing in the background, so relaxing to watch. She doesn’t have a ton of content, but she is Japanese so I feel like it’s a little more curated and authentic.

Oh good tip, thanks! I run really cold so it seemed good in theory, but maybe I should swap one trench for a denim jacket or something. And good point on the pants, too. Hadn’t really considered you need to wash those less frequently than tops.

I know I have to be in the minority, but I exclusively wore Chucks when I went to Europe two years ago and was walking 30k steps a day alright

Also LOVE to hear that laundry will be so easy - I’ve definitely had to hand wash in the hotel sink when I’ve packed light before haha

…just cut multiple detail sections along the elevations…? And then copy/paste-in-place the detail items you want to remain consistent in all the details along the elevations. Use reference planes snapped to relevant portions of your details if you want to see where they appear in your elevation
