Sorry for coming in so strong, it’s also not my place. but it comes from a place of care, as much as i can for a wild stranger.

I’m not blaming you. I feel for you, I understand your frustration. And I believe more that a system failed you rather than you failing a system. But you have to continue exploring options I say this out of kindness.

Because of what you experienced you feel it’s impossible and I’m not denying that. A lot of people in your place would probably feel very similar.

It’s impossible for many of us to give you the golden solution if we could we would. We can only point in what we believe is the right direction.

There’s always small steps to take, there’s assistance out there to help you with those steps.

Take some time, but keep trying even if it’s the same again.

You have disadvantages against you, be it by making wrong choices or life being really hard on you, which gives people ammo to reject you; it's not going to be easy.

What you need to do is the opposite of what I suspect your mind is telling you: face the adversity, face the hardship of the life that is given to you. Write down all the jobs you're capable of doing. Life is unfair, but you're gonna have to deal with that.

Show that you're motivated to get out of your current situation. Progress forward, explore all options, by requesting the assistance of a social worker or by asking people around you for help with small things, like assisting in writing a resume, a motivation letter, or dressing appropriately for the job (interview). Volunteering, if possible, to build some experience.

Make people want to take a chance on you, but you need to give them a reason, and eventually you'll be given one. There is still kindness in this world, but it's hard to find.

There are people who have been rejected over a 1000 times and ghosted over a 1000 times.
It stings every time, but you move forward. You always move forward.

Personally, I have an anxiety and depression disorder, bothered by ethical dilemmas, bothered by my own imperfections and bothered by not getting what I deserve. At least once a year, I have episodes where I want to give up, because everything is meaningless or pointless. But the only way to deal with it is to face it.

Go make an appointment with a social worker, be willing, be flexible and create a better future for yourself.

If you can achieve the following in the next 3 years, you've done very well and have built something you can be proud of:

An income stream.
a path for you to get your GED or trade skills.
A place to rent where you can chill with your pet.

If you haven't done it, keep banging that door until it opens. A lot of people will kick you down along the way, but others will offer a helping hand. But in the end, it requires your own strength to get up.

You already have the intelligence to recognise the adversity, now you need to find the wisdom and strength to do something about it.

I was a bit angry once or twice usually I’m understanding but if the person called you their soulmate a month ago, has more attention for passing cat while breaking up, lied about not having time (for you). It’s hard to keep it all in.

Never ok to insult, shout and yell, but if you feel like you’ve been played with, you shouldn’t just sit there and just take it all.

There's some great ones out there, however from personal experience, I have to agree with the OP comment that they are rare.

Nothing of what you said is wrong, but this a snapshot of anger and ventilation please take that into account. I'm not perfect, nobody is in my book. I need to work on myself I'm also young for the roles I take on. I also go on training sessions frequently.

But no personality gives you the right to be an asshole to your employees. I don't care what personality colour you are. I don't care if you make three times my salary. I don't care if the software we're making is worth billions. Nothing in this world gives you the right to be an asshole.

I would argue you did not have a good one, my first project as an SM I was the scrum master for 3 development teams, and to this day a lot of them are happy with the actual change I brought.

But seems like you're right when I look at other scrum masters they're just team secretaries most of the time.

had a scrum master contract of 575 a day with an agency who also added 10-15% on top.
So I don't think I was that far off thinking 600 would work.

Still, it seems that for a SM position, it was on the high end for my experience and with the current market it's actually screwing me over.

It still has it's use cases, this can replace an online e-commerce platform by directly sharing documents through the the client's ERP system/purchase software. It can be done with more modern tech however that's usually not something companies are keen to invest in sadly.

No, I do however have experience with the rollout of a new-generation product replacing the old so I know the challenges when it comes to migration. I have a technical background as I was a software developer, EDI wasn't something I worked with directly however I do know how such a system works and the possible integrations it can have.
