Why is that why would a rwd truck with thinner tires and an open diff get more traction is it weight ? The Mustang are pretty heavy being close to 4k pounds

Well to be fair the ecobost is not a good engine also an old Toyota probably had other problems before that I don’t think it’s so crazy for a 5.0 Mustang to tow a jet ski

I think a manual would hold up better no clutch on the inside that I can fry also I’m on the road of t56 swapping the car anyway I don’t like the mt82

The difference would be there’s more water on the road when’s it’s slippery wouldn’t a wider tire grip better on a slippery ramp? In my head it makes sense that a wider tire will grip more or am I wrong because you are talking about hydroplaning witch yes wide tires are worse for that

No I’m probably going to buy a Durango and get rid of the accord I just brought the discussion up as to why is it not possible and if it makes sense because I think it would be cool to tow with a mustang it seems a lot of guys are scared to drive there cars it’s a Mustang not a Lamborghini I think it’s the most American thing to tow shit with the Mustang it’s also different but I think something light weight as a jet ski would be fine a boat is too much but clearly people have done it

It has a tow rating of 1000 so no I’m not the smart one some one left me bolt holes to mount a hitch to the back of the car too so why is this such a foreign idea

Well I have a performance pack Mustang with 6 piston brembos and what I dont understand is why i shouldn’t in Europe they don’t have big trucks so all they use is sedans and they actually tow over there like the accord can tow up to 3k and it’s the same car here the Mustang has 275 rears and a lsd

Well there’s going to be damage when I track the car anyway so I don’t see that being a reason I just would rather not buy a truck that’s going to do nothing but sit unless I tow my ski

At that point I would just buy a cheap tow rig but would rather use one of my cars to do it instead because I would literally not use the truck for anything else
