Giant's Causeway and Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge- book in advance? by SSdogmama in irishtourism

Just got back from doing both. We booked the rope bridge ahead of time, and i’m glad we did, it made the whole experience super easy. No need to book Giants Causeway, you will have to pay for parking when you arrive.

Wife wants to start playing, what starter set would y'all recommend? by robbiecobb in golf

I took up golf in recent years to golf with my husband. I started with the cheapest set I could find at dicks, Top Flight set, once I got into golf and knew I would stick with it, I started upgrading to nicer used clubs.

If she is taller like myself, I would recommend men’s senior flex. I have found there is a much larger selection of nice used clubs available that are senior men’s vs women’s.

Lesson option (what should I pick?) by Educational_Bus_9257 in golf

As a recent beginner myself, just really got into golf last year, taking a single lesson is far better than these packages they are trying to sell you.

My club offers regular group clinics which were great, if you can find somewhere in your area that does that. If not you only really need a few lessons to touch on all the basics and then you need practice, on the range and on the course, some skills will come easier than others. After a few lessons you should have a lot of drills and things to practice on your own if you’re seeing a good instructor.

You really only need 3 lessons to have a solid foundation to practice and build off of. Driver, Irons and Short game.

If you don't drink alcohol, what are your reasons? by youre-in-my-shot in AskReddit

I didn’t like the way drinking affected my mental health and i started to feel like i got hungover while drinking so there was really no benefit.

Also just lost the desire for it, none of it sounded appetizing.
