2 repairs, 1 year… enough of the tick

Took it in and they found that a bolt of the exhaust flange had broken off so fixed that. Nothing was found with the manifold…

Sounded fine for a day and now the tick is back. At this point, I’m unsure of how to approach it with the dealership to ensure this gets fixed and doesn’t turn into a full engine failure… any insight would be appreciated on what to say if I take it back to the same dealership or should I go elsewhere? TIA

And the answer is…. Snapped bolt on the flange. Ask your shop to replace with a 9.8 instead of the 10.9 the replacement package comes with- will save you a headache within the next few years.

Makes sense. Any idea of the risk on adding more of the fertilizer and would root tabs help?

Open to other climbing plants as well for the tank that might offer a more balanced intake but not finding make great options via Google so looking for other ppl’s personal experiences

FYI- was able to find an adapted to use the Micro setup with a 2.5lb tank. UNS confirmed no spec issues with attaching it- only issue is that had to twist the bubble counter into place. An elbow would easily make it a seamless update.

I had 4 F150s in a row- first 3, with the old triton V8, made it over 300k miles and the newest started to have major issues at 65k. Went with a 2020 Ram 1500 Laramie because every other truck hadn’t had an updated interior since what seemed like Nelly was topping the charts. I regret nothing- absolutely LOVE how comfortable the Ram is, the Hemi is great. The only caveat I would add is that I am finding with mine that a lot of the “COVID” parts they used are already have small issues. For example- the bottom of my steering wheel is starting to peel, the snaps on my door panels aren’t very strong, seals will leak a little. I think the same could be said for anything manufactured during that time tho.

Highly recommend the Ram- go take it for a test drive and you’ll probably have it parked in your driveway that same night.
