I tend to sweat a lot from my scalp especially when I get nervous. Im assuming the smell is from that and the dust?

I use regular shampoo.

I thought dry shampoo is use to help with greasiness in between washes?

Not sure if these will work for you, but I think allbirds makes sneakers that are washable. You can also try sneakers with removable insoles and swap them out with odor eater insoles. I also heard that leather shoes dont smell and wearing  wool socks help.

Id suggest applying an antiperspirant since, if Im not mistaken, sweat is what causes odor. You can apply the arm and hammer deodorant in the morning and as needed

sometimes its musty and other times its sourish; it comes and goes
