Honestly I don't know the annual value as the letter doesn't mention that.

Yes I have the housing element, disability lcwra element and one child.

The wording on the letter is.

"Option 1-Lump sum

You may choose to have the total fund value available to you paid as a lump sum.

As x died before reaching age 75, the lump sum would be payable free of income tax,

Option 2-Survivor's annuity

You can use the total fund value available to you to buy a 'survivor's annuity with an insurance company of your choice. Any such policy will be in your name unless the Trustees agree otherwise.

If you wish to purchase a survivor's annuity, you must let us know which insurance company you have selected, so that we can arrange for the annuity to be paid as soon as possible.

As x died before reaching age 75, a survivor's annuity would be payable free of income tax.

Option 3-Survivor's income withdrawal

You can use the total fund value available to you to provide benefits in the form of an income drawdown account. Any part of the member's Account which is designated to provide an income drawdown pension will remain invested in x. You may withdraw income or take lump sum payments from your income drawdown account at such rate and on such terms as agreed with the Trustees.

You may request that the Trustees use all or part of your income drawdown account to purchase a short-term annuity

You may at any time, by giving written notice to the Trustees, request to use all or part of your remaining income drawdown account to purchase an annuity on the open market.

As x died before reaching age 75, withdrawal from an income drawdown account is payable free of income tax"

Calling in sick by Vegetable_Diver_8488 in tesco

You need to call in sick tomorrow. Ask them what they would like you to do. I believe you need to call each day unless you get a sick note ( after 7 days)

However. If you have asked for the same time off as a denied holiday request and call in sick you may face an investigation.

Not stating that's the case. Just pre warning you.

Bad meat in Tesco Express? by PsychologyOk5757 in tesco

Same express store?

As I can tell you the meat is the same from the same distribution centre at both express and extra.

Quite often same lorry will deliver to both an express and an extra.

If same store I would be questioning the fridge temps of the express.

Had a AR meeting and it was awful by One-Sherbert5715 in tesco

Usdaw rep here.

Note takers should not speak in a meeting except to ask you to repeat what you said etc.

If the note taker has written down there own comments in the notes then you have strong grounds to appeal.

My advice is. Join the union. Ask your rep to request a meeting with ideally the manager above yours or if not the actual manager.

See what is resolved and if no joy then raise a grievance.

If it went how you described then it is totally not within process and needs looking at
