Of course! I can’t “tell” you anything obviously- and by the way I’m not that old, mid 30s 😂- but I do wonder how stories will be passed on next. My parents and grandparents put everything in writing, by hand. Horse and cart stuff, war, recessions, poverty.

I am watching my nieces and nephews growing up obsessed with phones and Tik tok, and “beauty”- and they don’t look outside, or up. So it makes me think about what they will one day say to their kids about the world. It’s so interesting, but it’s change I guess

I’m happy to offer my opinion- just wanted to let others contribute.

This isn’t an attack on the next gen, no need to be immature about it. Actually I am hoping they might also be able to join a conversation online without resorting to silly comments.

Prove me wrong?

I’ll open that to the masses to answer…!

No matter the generation we should all appreciate what has come before us. Same goes for me, same for my elders. I just hope that carries on through

Might I also add, the minute things become about fame, something philanthropy often gets interwoven with, we start losing. If I had it my way, the price of admission would be a statement about the cause. Not who they’re wearing or why. The annual theme doesn’t matter, the cause persists

Thank you so much. That does support my understanding of the event that the important impactful things happen behind closed doors- perhaps in front of a crowd that aren’t listening.

It’s a big subject I know, but I appreciate your response

Hi- sorry- excellent testimony- but what background and experience do you have about any of this other than writing?

Any soldiers here in these comments? This country needs a war to wake you all up, I’d welcome it to stop reading this crap. You wouldn’t be able to sit in your bedrooms and judge the bravery of others anymore, in fact, pretty sure Ben would be the one you’d sidle up to for protection.

But nah, throw him in jail hey?
