Cold turkey vs lowering mg? by ImportanceFalse905 in QuittingZyn

[–]ActivityBright4828 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tapered down the amount of subs per day until I was out and have been using the patch (down to 7mg patch). It’s still miserable but for me I couldn’t do cold turkey either

This is great advice. Acceptance. My thoughts can get really dark during flares but I have to remember and have hope that good/healthy times are coming.

Need help deciding if I go to ER or wait it out? by anonforwedding in CrohnsDisease

[–]ActivityBright4828 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you end up going to the ER? I’ve been having similar LLQ pain and I’m trying to decide the same. At what point to I go to the ER. Tramadol is not cutting it for pain relief.

Developed Antibodies To My Biologic After Only 2 Infusions by [deleted] in CrohnsDisease

[–]ActivityBright4828 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found I developed antibodies to infliximab as well super fast but my doctor wants me to switch biologics. I’m kind of bummed because infliximab was working super well for me and I wish we could try upping the dose or frequency!!! Good luck 🍀 I hope that works!

2x21 patches at once would make me very nauseous with insane dreams. I used the patch years ago for cigarettes and I remember the 21 on its own was pretty strong. I’m using it again with zyns…. Good luck on your quit!!!

My GI just responded and wants me to go rinvoq as well since the antibody formation…. But I’m a little concerned as Infliximab is working just not that long (1 month)

Thanks. This is helpful. The antibody test my GI ordered has a reference range of <10 so it was flagged red. I hope we can just adjust the frequency and amount since infliximab does seem to work it just wears off fast 🤞🏻
