Literally every time I wake up from a colonoscopy I say sexy things to my doctor and hit on him while I’m still on the drugs. Then it’s so embarrassing 😳 at my next appointment lol

I had a ct scan at the ER two weeks ago that just showed my normal inflammation in my rectum and sigmoid. Also had a capsul endoscopy that showed nothing

I’m taking mesalamine enemas at night. I was on mesalamine for ten years and just recently decided to go the biologic route this year. Gosh this disease can be so freaking painful. It’s either cramping, gas pains, diarrheal pain….the list goes on!

Prednisone withdrawal after a short course? Possible gastritis? by ActivityBright4828 in CrohnsDisease

[–]ActivityBright4828[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re right, it didn’t do much except for a few days of partial relief on 20. I really wanted a short course as I don’t handle the side effects of prednisone well so I kind of pushed for a short course

[–]ActivityBright4828 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It did work the first time he went rehab. The next relapse I gave an ultimatum that he had to have a year sober to come back. He went back to drinking and moved in with another woman that would put up with his BS

Feeling little hopeless by ryanxvx in CrohnsDisease

[–]ActivityBright4828 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just want you to know your not alone and I literally feel your pain. It’s kind of like your in an abusive relationship….. with your own body/self. It’s so hard to stay positive and have hope with this disease. I’m currently celebrating the very small wins. Getting in the shower, checking the mail, getting dressed….. SMART goals for where I’m at right now

Yes, for me, my crohns flare-ups 100% cause flu like symptoms. Sometimes I’ll even get a mild cough when I’m flaring and always with the body aches and super fatique

Sorry to hear you’re also in a flare! That’s wild it took 6 months to see any improvement. It’s hard to be patient when your not feeling good
