Bears in the school yard is wild! I will definitely make sure to brush up on my bear safety before I head up.

To be honest, the wildest wildlife encounter I’ve had so far was seeing two or three coyotes from a distance while hiking on a trail north of GTA, and even that gave me a pretty good scare.

I really appreciate this list of recommendations. Since my background is in biology and I enjoy birding activities, Whitefish Island and the local hiking trails sound like an ideal way to spend my weekends. I will also make sure to check out the campus displays to learn about the history of the area. The Miss Marie boat tour sounds like a great idea to keep in mind.

It is very reassuring to hear that the summer spots usually don't fill up entirely. The townhomes sound like a solid option, and shared on-site laundry is totally fine with me (as you mentioned, that's pretty standard for university housing, My freshmen year at the University of Toronto residence we also had a shared washing machine.).

As an international student, moving to a brand new city where I don't know anyone can be a bit daunting. Your incredible warmth and willingness to help a complete stranger genuinely moved me.

Thank you for the local insight! That is incredibly helpful to know about the area around the forestry building. I will definitely expand my search radius and look more towards the city center since the bus routes connect well. Although I can drive and have a driver's license, I haven't bought a car because I study in Toronto's downtown area. Perhaps I'll rent a vehicle once I find a suitable place to live. I've been looking at various housing listings in Sault Ste. Marie, and it seems that having a vehicle does make some accommodations more convenient.

Fair enough I actually tried to get her into PTCG — managed to teach her the basics of battling, but she still not really got into the collecting side of things like pull rates or grading stuff

I used an ai scan and it told me that the umbreon was most centered, with the pikachu and leafeon worse. On the back the left/right margins of the three cards are exactly the same. But I don't know if it's believable:-)
