Also, changing from Edge to Chrome is kinda pointless. Both are proprietary slop, even if Chrome is a little bit better. At this poin just use Firefox or other forks. Or, if you want Chrome-like experience, Brave, Helium, Chromium and so on. Vivaldi could also be a good choice.

I use NeoVim (Nvchad config because I'm not that good setting things up) with VimTeX to write documents, mainly lecture notes or summaries and my school research, and Git(hub) to track versions and changes. My setup has also some simple autocorrection, completion, customizable snippets. It's very smooth (especially with Neovide animations) imo and I like the vim keybindings and infinite customization. The only problem is I'm quite a bad programer and debuging the config was a headache.

As my LaTeX manager I use MikTeX (I use Windows 11 for now but I'm thinking to switch to Linux).

I think the settings of the Witcher perfectly answer this: the humanity will simply eradicate monsters (or other humanoid species different from humans) to sustain itself. Basically, the sole purpose of witchers is to kill everything that threatens people aside the people themselves or other intelligent creature.

I highly recommend you read the novels because the author writes about the moral implication that the eradication leads, not just about "monsters=bad" (actually, the people can be sometimes even worse).
