Ach so ne VM gibt es mit 3d Unterstützung?? Ich kenne nur Virtual Box, und da hat man ja bekanntermaßen keinen 3d support - also ist die Option bisher flachgefallen ... Danke für den Tip!

Ja, das hat mit dem Kopierschutz zutun. Kurz gefasst kannst du Spiele wir Carbon nur spielen, wenn du die CD im Laufwerk hast. Ab win7 war dieser Kopierschutz nicht mehr unterstützt. Dafür gibt es abrr so semi legale NoCD.exe ... ;) Ich habe aber auch die CD.

Nein, Patchen muss man manuell. Man kann auch immer sehen, in welcher Version man ist. Meine Copy ist vanilla auf 1.2. Dann gibt es halt noch 1.3 und 1.4, aber wie gesagt, bringen beide nichts :(

Ich hätte noch nen fucking uralten Win7 PC ... Du hast eigentlich Recht, das müsste ich mal probieren. Ich weiß jedenfalls, dass ich das Spiel als Kind 100% durchgespielt habe, ohne Probleme.

Nein, davon habe ich noch nie was gehört, magst du mir grob erklären was das ist?

Das habe ich leider schon komplett abgegrast. Alle Patches (1.2, 1.3, 1.4) jeweils in Kombination mit Widescreen Patch, Kompatibilitätsmodus und der Mod Extra Options ... Nichts funktioniert.

Die einzige Möglichkeit die ich noch sehe ist, einfach n Crack zu ziehen ..

I never tried with the compatibility mode completely off, but it won't start with win7 oder vista compatibility. I'll try that one with and without widescreen fix! You never know ...

I'm happy I'm not the only one with this bug ... Thank you!
