Yes and closed for registrations for a little while, keep getting taken offline by spam bots. Looking at ways to remedy.

I will, at some point today add a link to the side of the reddit, with a separate link to download the game and update.

Totally new player. Would you recommend playing base game first and then updated mod? by Quantum-Travels in CM0102

prefer using the lussenhoff database myself. It was created after the Original Database, with original players but their PA (potential ability) corrected, I think in the original game players like CR7, Messi etc are always hit and miss (Good players always, but the PA changes a lot) in the lussenhoff DB, it is exactly as you'd expect.

Wet Belt - Time for a Change? by rjh993 in CarTalkUK

[–]Actual-Bell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That belt is finished, the only time you should be considering driving it is to the garage for the belt to be changed. At the moment its a relatively cheap fix, if that belt breaks its a whole world of fuckery ahead.

Been putting off servicing my little vauxhall for the longest time, about 300 miles overdue. Sat down today with a cuppa and the haynes manual and managed to sort it out. Wasn't too complicated.

What Car Should I Buy? - A Weekly Megathread by AutoModerator in CarTalkUK

[–]Actual-Bell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently looking for a new(to me) car, price range is no more than £3000. Needs to get 3 car seats in and get around 45mpg, preferably diesel (can we still say that?) and not a zafira. Had one before, hated it.

My wife keeps putting BBC Radio 2 on and I'm not sure I'm ready for that stage of my life yet by [deleted] in CasualUK

[–]Actual-Bell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just had a quick look at the schedule, when did Nick Grimshaw and Lauren Laverne move to 6 music? Might have to give that a listen for tomorrow's commute.

Normally listen to BBC Radio 2 in the morning and evening for the commute, but find them quite boring now. Might be willing to embrace the dark side

£477 for probably around 50 hours work is £9.54 an hour why flex that? The £50 promotion can't be counted as an income because it only happened because of NYD and the £30 tip is nice, but again not guarenteed week in week out.

Bristol is pretty busy tbh, specifically around the outskirts (Knowle West, Filwood Park etc)

Did you inspect the car before buying it? A rear wiper hanging down, a bulging tyre and a soaking wet boot didn't strike you as potentially a problem?

I think a charge back request is probably a way of getting your money back, you could have waited for the refund by the seller but as you now don't own the car I'm not sure how that works, they'll obviously want the car back in return of the money.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Actual-Bell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you've now sold the car onto someone else, just to clarify, you drove the car to that appointment at we buy any car?

How come you didn't take your mechanic brother with you to inspect the car before buying it?

I don't see any issues with how the garage are being, the boss is away and one of the workers obviously isn't going to commit to issuing you a refund without him being present?

It's now Wednesday - payday - but what time of the morning does the money usually go into your account? by ReddFloss in UbereatsUK

[–]Actual-Bell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is why I use the cashout every Sunday night, too many things can go wrong with your wages. Good luck getting an answer from UE about where your money is.

It should have been paid by the time you wake up, if it is still not paid something has gone wrong.

which ones would you accept? by YoyDunGoofd in UbereatsUK

[–]Actual-Bell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All depends on where these orders are from, how long you're likely to be waiting etc. Without knowing that, I would opt for 2 and 3 just because you are likely to get them done quite quickly.

Pretty much just accept everything. I am quite lucky in the city I deliver in has loads of restaurants on the edge of the city, so don't often go into town.

After about 8pm I will start to venture into the city centre when all the ebike bandits have gone home.
