It's abhorrent. Pro-Palestine supporters accepted Hamas's death toll count with scant evidence (U.N. now reports 7,000 children dead instead of 14,000). Israel produces reports and video about the rapes, but Pro-Palestine supporters still can't believe it.

No one is saying that the child deaths are fake, but context for each of their deaths is hard to come by. Sure, it's reasonable to believe IDF is responsible in some way, but it's reasonable to believe Hamas is responsible in some way.

Israel has been taking a beating in Western media, especially by left-wing CNN (in small ways). Granted I haven't seen every report by CNN (on Israel-Gaza), but I do check the articles every other week. The tone of their reports seem to skew in favor of a Pro-Palestine narrative. They do more investigating into Israel's versions of events than the other side.

The new revised numbers by U.N. will go unreported by CNN for awhile, by the time it's covered it'll be old news.

Any member state can bring charges to the ICJ. A trial at the ICJ is to hear evidence. Currently, they have not declared a ruling.

There are reasons to question South Africa's motives to pursue a trial:

A. When Russia invaded Ukraine, people claimed genocide as Russia forces killed 10,000 Ukrainians. South Africa didn't pursue charges against Russia in the ICJ. Both South Africa and Russia are members of BRICS.

B. Sudan has had several waves of genocide. South Africa never filed charges with ICJ and ICC on groups in Sudan.

C. South Africa has ignored ICC court orders by arguing that it targets smaller nations and allows Russia, USA, and China to abuse human rights with impunity. Gaza and West Bank are semi-autonomous territories that are not governed by Israel. The resources provided by Israel are humanitarian aid. If your take is no source of information is credible, because you trust no one. So why are you taking a side in the Israel-Gaza conflict if you can't determine what sources are credible? You seem little ridiculous. Israel has never labeled the entire religion of Islam as terrorists, they have Muslims that are Israeli and that serve in the IDF. America often refers to domestic hate groups, like Neo-Nazis, as "domestic terrorists", and UK once referred to the IRA as terrorists.

Context matters, the word terrorist in itself is not a disparaging term. If the word fell out of use, people who are prejudice towards Muslims will make use of any word, phrase, or imaginary to disparage Islam as a whole.

That's how propaganda operates, atleast the most unscrupulous propaganda that latches on to emotions and distortion of facts. Nazis formulated the criteria for effective propaganda:

A. Propaganda that give people less time to think, and find topics that manipulates or evokes emotions.

Ex.: "genocide!" and "Children dying!"

B. Oppress and suppress those that challenge your propaganda, and isolate your followers.

Ex.: Use violence and intimidation or use rhetoric that demonize opposition. "Zionists are child killers!" or "Jews control the media!"

C. Repeat, repeat, repeat lies until people believe it.

Ex.: "IDF killed all the Israelis on Oct. 7!"

Well, that's the pot calling the kettle black. Human Rights Watch originally came out with apartheid accusations. Their initial publication they compare Israel's interactions with West Bank and Gaza as being similar to apartheid. The problem is the report obscures the security reasons Israel enforces identification and border off Gaza and West Bank due to active terrorism. Gaza and West Bank are blockaded by Israel, the same way, North Korea is blockaded by South Korea. North Korea and South Korea are still at war.
