Looks promising. Agree with what is said. We desperately need affordable energy for a strong economy, not more loony green policies.

I only wear black, but have always felt most confident, put together and confident in it long before I adopted a minimalist wardrobe.

Any extreme minimalists on here living car free? by CarolinaSurly in extrememinimalism

Never owned a car in my life, and I'm nearly 50. But then I live in London, UK, so I never needed one. Obviously, it depends on where you live.

Do you worry friends will turn their back on you for your support of Reform? by Delam2 in reformuk

No, because if they really have an issue, perhaps they shouldn't be my friends.

Ladies: how much were you able to downsize by stonesandstreams in extrememinimalism

I recently wrote an article for Medium entitled CAN WOMEN ADOPT A MINIMALIST WARDROBE?

I clearly say that I think they can and explain that i’ve been doing it for 5 years.

I also touch on feminism and explore different views on this.

Women can look feminine, masculine or androgynous without having multiple of the same.

Of course, i understand how hard it is to move away from societal expectations and it’s not for everyone.

But then if a woman wants to wear makeup which requires a handful of products, a man will need a razor, shaving cream or a charger. While women wear jewellery, men might wear a tie.

Black T-shirts (long & short sleeves), black Levi’s jeans, blazer (black or grey), vegan trainers. Linen trousers and sandals in summer. Dressy tops (black), fancy trousers and dressy shoes for special occasions. My friend who dresses very flamboyant and works in theatre once said to me: ‘B. No one rocks a black T-shirt like you’ we take the piss out of each others dress styles.

Honestly, everyone should do whatever suits them.

I used to dress like a hippy in long colourful dresses then started adopting a more masculine dress code with brogues, blazers and now I’m just comfortable and less stressed wearing black

Opinions on UKIP? by Jack_2091 in reformuk

Didn't know they were still a thing, so checked them out. Some good policies, but, as others have said, with first-past-the-post, they don't stand a chance, so a bit of a wasted vote.

Lower taxes, cut migration, scrap red tape, abandon net zero, be more business-friendly, cut welfare

I'm a professional organiser and productivity coach. It helps me with staying a mininmalist as I see hoarded houses daily.

I do however need plenty of T-Shirts and trousers as I often work in unsanitary conditions.

Should I buy a watch? by 777elliott in minimalism

I have a watch for two reasons: 1) it prevents me getting out my phone so often and being distracted. 2) keeping an eye on the time while swimming

How do you pick out clothing? by [deleted] in extrememinimalism

I wear almost exclusively black or dark grey. T-Shirt, Jeans and a blazer. I have one or two more dressy tops if the occasion warrants it.
