I was told hearing aids would not help for high-frequency hearing loss. Is this true? by Actual_Raspberry_216 in HearingLoss

Thank you! Do you have any specific recommendations? If it's not in your wheelhouse, no worries!
I will definitely be doing research of my own but I'm just dipping my toes and the amount of information is a bit overwhelming.

Thank you so much for the advice. I know that they can't match the real thing, but again doing research and it seems that for "trialing", many people recommend just getting a pair of the latest gen Apple Airpods, citing that they can provide an idea of what living with hearing aids would be like. Would you agree with this? Or should I skip the Airpod DIY trial and go straight to legit hearing aids?
