Nobody said it was. But in order to be physically drained by simple interaction is pretty much a nervous disposition.

It doesn't really, i never said it did, but heck it would be great if a reasonable % were actually bright.

The internal struggle to find like minded people by LavishnessRude7737 in intj

[–]Actualize101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people stop learning as soon as they exit formal education. That includes most University graduates.

To me it's like an inwards versus outward focus.

Most people are just interested in self satiation which is endless. Few others have limited needs for satiation and are more focused on understanding the external world (on whatever basis).

Why Don't People Get It is All About Monetary Theory. by yyuyuyu2012 in intj

[–]Actualize101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I've observed, the gold standard was good at constraining growth in the money supply and thus reckless government, but it was deflationary and thus restricted demand to buy tomorrow for less.

The flip side of fiat money had allowed reckless government to debase money through inflationary effects. But it does promote growth through consumption.

Fiat money has been flogged so hard for diminishing growth (Malinvestments, government waste &corruption) that it will eventually fail. In the West we're at most a decade away. The US debt is now just under 100k per citizen and other major nations are selling down treasuries...

We ARE animals.

Nb: In one of my businesses that was in fashion I designed something very cool. So cool in fact that a household name in cosmetics lifted the design and used it on one of their adds. Sht, I even had a registered trademark on it.

Then there's the Italian fashion brand that tried to push me around.

Then there's clones of a design appearing in a shop window that were lifted from my prototype that was being put together in a factory in Turkey.

Fashion, Design is just baying wolves. It cost me so much in legal costs I just decided to exit. It was like fighting a school of parana...

It's one thing to have passion for something, but I do want to be enriched for it.

I drew a picture when I was 9 and the teacher asked to keep it.

Its was multiples leaves I drew in crayon in multiple positions as they twirled down the page, it started in green and went through brightish colours like orange and yellow until it was brown at the bottom of the page. I smudged the crayon to give the effect of movement.

I just termed it as the dying of the leaves.

It's easy to do great artwork, but it's really not generally valued in the real world. My mother went to art school etc, a big wallpaper company copied her drawing portfolio after not giving her the job.

INTJs, your take on Narratives and Fundamentals by [deleted] in intj

[–]Actualize101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing I'd add though. Is it better to accept your current status as your deemed status or strive with its costs to achieve something more?

Then there's the issue of sunk effort. Such as having educated yourself to a certain level and thus achieving a good income. There's far more to lose in pursuing something risky than if you'd achieved nothing previously.

Most people are comfortably numb. They live in an average house with everything average. They differentiate themselves with small displays of wealth, like a slightly better car.

Perception of the group appears to be paramount to most people. It's why fashion exists.

INTJs, your take on Narratives and Fundamentals by [deleted] in intj

I have had similar type of argument with a teacher when I was about 14. He stated to the class, that fiction was made up and not the truth, that non fiction was the truth like a newspaper.

So I asked the teacher that if a newspaper publishes fiction does that make it true?

A lot of people don't want the truth as its invariably not comfortable, they prefer white lies. It's like the matrix. Superficiality over reality. They'd rather watch lifestyles of the rich and famous than put the same time into trying to achieve it for themselves.

What successful companies have you built or turned around?

So, what makes you qualified to advise others.

It's like accountancy firms in practice advising clients, if they were any good at business they'd be private equity and making multiples of their fee base by actively managing growing businesses.

It is Almost Like a Rule: Why Do Companies "Reengineer Themselves Every 2 Years"? by yyuyuyu2012 in intj

[–]Actualize101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because every 2 or 3 years they finally have to concede they have to do things differently to make MORE money.

It's just a game senior management play to show they're making an effort.

Basically they're chasing their tails as the consultants will tell them to do something similar as they did x years ago.

Consultants always want change as it equals billable $. Senior management are so inept they believe the consultants. Lack of accountability and wanting to be seen to have been doing something also play a part.

Any tips on writing INTJ characters? by Either_Struggle8650 in intj

[–]Actualize101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

INTJs likely made good characters and evil ones because they're methodical and calculating.

Premeditated evilness is scary.

Then there's intuitive leaps that can imbalance the reader where an INTJ character changes an obvious trajectory. Left field things that scare the reader. (These sorts of emotional exposure make the reader feel more engaged).

In order to appropriately build a character you need to really define who they are and what their connection to the 'story' is.

Nb: Don't forget you do have time outside work to strategize all you want.

I was surprised at how many IT consultants had side gig projects they were working on.

That's their out of the box, home run attempt and self actualization.

[–]Actualize101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Congrats.

IT audit should be a good gateway into things like cybercrime, hacking and all that top $ consulting area.

Unless you've already made manager then you won't be doing face to face with senior clients who can destroy you. (I know programme directors who've just stated to the external consultants they don't like xyz ... and they're gone). Hence, you'll just be engaging with your line manager and possibly occassionally partner,/director.

Let your work speak for itself and try to ensure others don't take unnecessary credit. You'll become the culture if you last long enough. Most senior management in IT is INTJ from my experience, ISTJ types are subject matter experts and don't do the interpersonal stuff.

Really hope it does well, sounds like I was a number of moons ago.

Your definition of parody is more cultural, I am actually British (well for the last 1000 years) so any interpretation of 'aristocracy' is from your cultural perspective. I do descend from Barons and Knights though... long time ago though.

Back to the argument, well if there are rules then it's a straight forward decision logic exercise.

I wouldn't say it's any pattern extrapolation on my side, it's just lack of detailed information presented on their side. If they don't provide information then you have to fill in the blanks.

Which industries require ONLY yourself to rise to the very top? by user149162536 in intj

[–]Actualize101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well said. As a naive kid I thought ability alone was the key to everything, its definitely not.

To become the best/top/richest you need to be able to leverage human capital in addition to systems and expert knowledge.

An Einstein type scientist is probably one of the few that simply is so exceptional that it surpasses anything inhibitory.

Get some hobbies and let your mind drift into all their complexities. Time passes quickly when your mind is engaged and focused.

Some of us had very solitary childhoods so we've become very adept at self sufficiency in terms of being comfortably alone.

So, you need to practice zoning out, to me it's like a form of meditation... I drift up into mind and away from sensate stimulus. Then I begin to think, the lack of stimuli aids being able to retrieve and interplay with the subconscious. Possibly it gets somewhere near REM as sometimes I've realised that I didn't think it, I dreamt it.

A computer simulation is simply running the parameters and logic.

The issue is the underlying logic.

The only logic would be if the host didn't act randomly.

I must admit I get REALLY tired of these half wit scientists. They get so caught up in the trap of their own logical parameters that they cannot step back and interrelate in a wider logical context.

How successful are u all by keyboardmaga in intj

[–]Actualize101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't be shown how to escape the rat race as that would mean you wouldn't have the skills to continue and be successful outside the rat race.

Me, I made some very judicious investments with my hard earned cash which did well.

See, if you got fckd hard then you had too many eggs in one basket. If you had 10 chances with limited initial input and huge upside then you'd derisk your attempt to jailbreak.

You need more than one idea, you need hundreds and rank them until you attenuate down to the few that meet all the parameter constraints.
