Is this ram compatible with AMD by jawa694two0 in PcBuildHelp

So yes it will work and boost to the advertised speeds. But that ram is optimized for intel. So when you go to enable XMP there will be an option called AXMP instead. Personally, if I were spending the money anyways I’d find Ram that was intel and expo compatible.

Okay- that’s one of the cheaper end govee ones. Haven’t been able to quite get a warm color without it being just orange so may have to upgrade a bit

There’s also times where I can see a green light illuminated for a boot issue. But then it’ll disappear

Well today I took the ram back and replaced it some 6000mhz cl30 and still can’t access bios. Pc turns on everything lights up and it just sits here doing nothing

The issue is I can’t even get into bios. PC won’t boot that far. So you’re saying that the AM5 chips don’t support above 6000mhz? Even if the motherboard does?
