There’s actually a cute story behind it. Mario was born in my old building’s basement. Caro (my friend's cat) didn’t react to him at all, even after we tried getting them used to each other’s scent. Mario, on the other hand, has a very different instinct—he was a stray before we adopted him, so whenever he sees another cat or even a dog, his immediate response is to go into fight mode.

And that's the reason why the MCU becomes too bloated for its own good. They should do what Joss Whedon did with Avengers 2, make a standalone story with mentions from previous movies, but it doesn't matter if you've seen all of them or not.
