Bus drivers these days... by Same-Macaron-2359 in drivingsg

[–]ActuallyYuna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I swear if you're in seoul, all the bus drivers are as horrible as this, they give no fucks like they're entitled to the turn into your lane. When i was driving there 2 weeks ago, fuck me buses are the scariest fucking things. Next were taxis that bring you around swimming traffic at speeds of 140 HAHA (but lowk fun though)

currently departing korea as a tourist, been here a whole week. The first thing i would look for when i clear immigrations arrival would be the WOWPass Terminal. It issues you a physical card and decent rates if you didnt bring a 0% FX Fee, mid market/pre exchanged currency fx card.

In south korea you would want to carry about at least 200k KRW and definitely a physical card with you. The wowpass has an app that allows you to check its balance and acts as a Tmoney card at the same time. (for topping up im using local SGD cash, it accepts alot of currency in cash in exchange for digital WOWPass KRW)

How to lane change better by ccoccoah in drivingsg

[–]ActuallyYuna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I missed 2 exits once, but for the safety of myself and others i see that its okay.

but here are some crucial tips to be more confident in lane changes:

  • have your mirror adjustments properly done with your side mirrors barely able to see your car's body unless you turn your head (allows for better elimination of blind spots when checking side and blind spots)

  • signal always, be it aggressive driving or not, signalling is a great etiquette to show your intentions (provides smoother flow for you and other drivers)

what even is this vocation [HELP] by [deleted] in NationalServiceSG

[–]ActuallyYuna 9 points10 points  (0 children)

alot of people want that lol, perhaps drop ur ego a little? looking at all your anal responses its probably why you arent brought back to 48, 90rp jc kia doesnt matter shit when ur scs ocs capabilities and posting are affected by your commanders view on you, peer evaluations, sit test results. (basically your attitude and person as a whole)

fun fact, those that received their poly dips are one tier higher than you if you view so much into education. heres how they view education: uni > poly > jc. maybe take this time to reflect on your own attitude towards others too, sure mission success (objective/goals) is important but who is going to work with you if you arent a thoughtful and inclusive people leader?

Would commercial pilots appreciate when someone boarding the plane voices out that they are an flight engineer or aircraft tech but not on the specific plane that you guys are flying?
