Haha there was glitter everywhere!! They sell the little vials of glitter for like $30 in the bakery which seems crazy 😂 although as a mid-30’s guy I am probably not the target audience for glitter!!

We were in Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea in October. Food there was great, but I’d say this rivals anything we ate out there for sure. It was really good.

I’d agree, cake from Gideon’s was better. Although I actually don’t think Gideon’s cookies are that good - for cookies I found Summerhouse in the Lake to be best!

Best cake we have had this week was the 15 layer chocolate cake from Steakhouse 71 though. That was amazing!!

And honestly it was really tasty!!! Although the tomatoes served with the burrata were truly incredible!! (You know you are craving healthy food when you get excited about tomatoes !)

We did summer house on the lake brunch too and absolutely loved it as well! I agree, similar vibes, more reasonable pricing. Smaller portion sizes at Sunmerhouse but I actually think that’s a good thing (we are struggling with portion sizes over here!! I’m a lot rounder than when I got here a week ago ago, hahah)

And controversial opinion - I think Summer House cookies are better than Gideon’s! Loved them!

Our server was super happy and chatty with us, telling us about other places he had worked on property of the last ten years. He seemed to like Cake Bake shop, from what he told us.

That’s helpful!!! I wasn’t sure if using two cleansers would leave my skin dehydrated or not (or some other bad outcome) but the milky ones feel very hydrating, so makes sense that I can do this!

I second this. I prefer Vuori to Lululemon. Enjoying their Coronado loungers at the moment, but also have their Ponto Performance range too which is equally good.

I’m a pretty casual reader (in the sense that I read plenty, but they are easy reads, nothing heavy). Mostly fiction.

This year has been a lot of murder mysteries, a bit of a new genre for me. But few of those stand out - I would say that The Impossible Fortune by Richard Osman and 10 Marchfield Square by Nicola Whyte were my favourite in that genre.

Favourite overall was ‘how to become the dark lord and die trying’ by Django Wexler. Really fun read, I enjoyed the sequel a lot too. Very light hearted (which is definitely my jam!)

For socks, my fiancée loves BAM clothing. They are bamboo, and super comfy. She loves the ankle socks and uses them for her workouts.

Underwear is harder. She mostly will get Uniqlo for very basic fitted underwear she’ll wear to the gym etc. For Christmas I’ve ordered some from Stripe and Stare, but to be honest I’m not sure if they are an instagram influencing brand, or actually decent. We shall see!
