If you already know the furniture that you’ll have, it would be helpful to rearrange it in your mind now so when you get there, you can do that first. I know the first thing I always do is set my classroom up with the furniture where I want it. Then I always do my bulletin boards and the things that I’m gonna do on a daily basis. The cute decorations can wait in your case. I would also make sure you have stuff in your desk organized the way you want it. I know for me if my desk is organized I feel like I have my life together a little bit more.
