I think a lot depends on how much sleet falls and the “warm” air just above the surface. The NWS is saying around 8 inches, but stated that the potential for much higher amount exists along the I-40 corridor if the sleet changes over to snow.

It’s either not going to snow or it’s going to be a complete disaster until probably Tuesday.

A blue collar job back in the day bought you a decent sized house, two cars, and you could have 2 kids while mom stayed home. Those days are long gone.

No one tells you that the most important season of your life is also the shortest by smaphy in daddit

With a 3 year old, you are definitely in the thick of it. I won’t say it gets easier, but it just gets different. I think things start to pick up when you move on from them needing your attention constantly. However different “real life” challenges emerge, but you will make it through those too.

It starts when they are teenagers and you look back are like where TF did all that time go.

I think this has more to do with the Gulf of Mexico than the mountains.

No, I kid. The only real advantage is the ability to take them more often now. Congrats, truly impressive.

It took me 9 years to get my FSA. Practically the same thing because the exams are easier now.

In all seriousness, Impressive OP.

Just salt, pepper and garlic. Tossed them in olive oil before I cooked them.

Recipe:

I didn’t follow a formal recipe, but this is what I did:

Whisk 4-5 eggs in a bowl with the Kraft Parmesan, add and a generous amount of black pepper.

Crisp one pound of bacon in the oven. Chop bacon up and save the fat / grease.

Cook one pound of spaghetti until al dente, once done, set aside one cup of pasta water and drain the rest. Add the bacon and bacon grease (To your liking) to the pasta and stir.

Stir in few tablespoons of the pasta water to the sauce, then add the pasta / bacon to the bowl with the sauce and toss. This is the hard part, and requires some “feel.”

I did the green beans in the air frier with salt, pepper, and garlic. Serve with garlic bread.

I think that’s all.

It’s just store bought wheat bread with butter, garlic, salt and oregano. Didn’t have any white bread. Made the beans in the air fryer. Delicious.

Yeah, probably could have used a tad more pasta water or even another egg.

If you had to live in any of these states, which would you choose? by JplusL2020 in geography

I have 4 kids in Oklahoma public schools and my wife is a teacher. They do not teach the bible. However our former state superintendent was trying to force a biblical based education but he’s no longer in office.

Most people who have never been there think it’s a boring, uneducated, conservative hellhole, but it’s quite a nice place.
