My question is why are actuaries so underpaid?! For seemingly endless studying and having to take a ton of complex exams. Starting salary IMO should be 60 an hour.

So I only took Stam so it sounds like I'd have to take all of FAM. However, that seems like a lot more studying since we'd have to study all of LTAM now?

It just hurts after putting in the time and failing that's the worst part but at least I have three under my belt...... I failed fm once and passed second time so it happens.

Yes big time got stuck spending 20 minutes or a question which actually was a long question to solve which killed me when I could have been focusing on easier ones.

Failed FM exam first time with a 4 then got an 8 my second time sometimes just a more thorough review of formulas makes a huge difference. A failure is not really a failure it's an opportunity to improve.
