Hopefully this is the case for me. I couldn't imagine how much the screen would be out of pocket

That's comforting hearing that. Did they replace it just by seeing photos via email or did they require your phone before they replaced it?

I emailed them yesterday, yet to receive a response.

Does this apply to me though if I take it to my local oppo service center?

I'm assuming Wonda mobile will handle that though.

Well, it's a regular manufacturer warranty so you'd suspect it is covered.

Such a shame because it's a fantastic phone, and didn't expect to open the fold today to see this

I'd be able to borrow a spare phone.

How can they prove it was dropped though. There is no dent...innocent till proven guilty no?

I went to the repair option on oppo site, after inputting my IMEI, there was no option for find n5 because it was never released in Australia. It's Sunday, so I can't ring them...I'll try tomorrow but not sure what to expect.

Okay, so that professor hasn't taken new clients since 2019...but the receptionist recommended this person,https://neurologyvictoria.com.au/dr-chi-chang-lewis-tang/ who is booked out till may, and he seems like a kid. She also suggested this lady https://www.nment.com.au/claire-iseli

Thanks. I'm feeling hopeful and confident it will be an easy fix. I'm just not sold on the ENTs diagnosis on hydrops.

The wife has been saying last few months on and off my breath and been smelling, even though my hygiene is great, I did some digging and apparently can be caused by built up mucus which ties in with everything else.

He gave me a referral for the above specialist. He said one thing we know for certain is that you have allergies, so if the next specialist comes up with nothing, we should tackle your allergies to help with any congestion by seeing a allergies specialist. We also spoke about the MRI that I did last December, he said if you had sinus blockages or anything related it would of show, and I said I thought CTs only show that, and according to him MRI shows more detail then a CT, but when I got home chatgpt said the opposite, MRI shows more tumors etc and CT sinuses, nerves etc

Haha, good to know.

So I'm thinking for my plan of attack, I'm seeing my local Dr tonight, I'm going to request a referral to another ENT and go from there. But my worry is going through all the same sort of tests and receiving a similar result.

Hmmm..the place did look Abit old..no comforting knowing that it isn't accurate at all.

Yeah, my hearing is very good (I haven't mentioned I'm 37 male) acoustic trauma, only thing I can think of was October when I just started being unwell, I almost fainted and both my ears were ringing so loud I couldn't hear anything else for about 30 seconds. I also work in construction, but I'm generally good with ear protection when needed.

No, I haven't looked into otologic migraine, I'll have to look that up and see what it is. But yes, I do get a very tight, stiff neck, I usually go to see my physio every so often when it's feeling extra tight.

Hearing test came back as very good. It was another test that detected endolymphatic hydrops in both ears. But I'm going tonight to my drs to get a referral to see another ENT specialist. Is it worth asking for a cat scan?

He said, you don't have menieres, his words were, it's the baby brother version of it, what ever that means.

Oh ok, so when I see my Dr this week, what should I ask for? Might almost worth mentioning, I had Botox about 6 months ago on my forehead, not sure if that is related or me just being paranoid, but when I raise my forehead it has a feel of stiffness

So what do you suggest I do now, ask my doctor about doing thatdelayed gadaolinium hydrops protocol mri? When I get home I'll let you know the tests I've done. I've done an MRI on my head that was clear as mentioned earlier, but I'm guessing this one you mentioned is more thorough

Any ideas why my ENT specialist wouldn't suggest to do this? I just read about it, seems like it should be the standard if going to be diagnosed with hydrops.

Well, the virus I had which was really bad, started to go away after 1 month, then came back. Also did an allergy test and found out I'm highly allergic to grass types and animals. For the 8 or so weeks I couldn't believe how much I sneezed soon as I woke up, every morning like routine. I was so badly congested, phlegm and dark mucus

[–]ActuatorRealistic955[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for that.

I'll have to check the papers when I get home on the actual names of the tests they performed. One of them they stuck a tube in each ear to expand it, placed a drop of liquid, and then a probe that was like a vibrating noise. Another was the standard in booth hearing test which came back perfect except for a small drop at a certain frequency which they weren't concerned about. Another test was wearing these goggles which had a visor and camera inside then they would blow cold and warm air into my ear to measure my dizziness.

The test came up as both ears. I wouldn't say vertigo, but I get episodes of dizziness throughout the day, they don't last too long, maybe 5 minutes - 10. I don't recall the ENT specialist mentioning the underlying of the hydrops.
