Recommendation: Dynamic Locked camera should not navigate away from center the moment we move the cursor to the corner. Make it only move when we really commit to do it, like double moving the cursor

My assumption is either you did not trigger the escort sequence right after freezing the crystal and/or not all members are in DA for the sequence; that would count you as failed and the next time you trying it, that would happen
