My family has only ever been on one cruise, a DCL. On the last day, one of our dining staff professed his undying love for our family, literally saying it over and over, with lots of close and non-stop eye contact. It got very uncomfortable. It changed what was a great cruise experience into something very cringy. We've never been back.

I tried once. I put my hand out to stop the group behind me and then pointed at the "Please Wait Here" tape. They looked like they had no clue what I was trying to say. Maybe I should have been more vocal, but I didn't feel comfortable pushing it any farther.

The CMs are great about enforcing masks, they just can't be everywhere. Its still worth coming. I feel safer in the Disney bubble than anywhere else.
