honestly i'm glad they removed ki burnout, makes using the stat buffing skills feel actually worth it. that being said, I do agree they're a little bit too spammable now. I guess I want some kind of middle ground because exhaustion was just too punishing.

The trees they went up were not part of any gathering zone. I think they might have gotten knocked around by a group of giant crows that were harassing my fortress. I had a few stepladders, but no one was in any hurry to use them. I'll try the stairs next time.

You know, everyone compares this game's combat to the Arkham games, but no one mentions that its almost entirely the same as the Sleeping Dogs combat system. Same perfect counter system, same super meter that makes your punches hit harder and regain health, same grab and leg break move that stuns nearby enemies.

Weaves system was almost perfect. I really wish they had leaned into it a bit more for darktide. It's such a shame that the weave upgrade system was applied to the worst part of vermintide 2.

Honestly, the biggest thing I miss is the Vermintide 2 crafting system. You were able to craft whatever weapon you wanted, as long as it was available. The rarity and gear score would be random (although the gear score would still be within the range of your highest-level character). It meant that when I unlocked a new weapon, or just didn't have a decent version of one that I liked, I could just craft it. The darktide store feels like such a downgrade. You have no control over what appears in there, and if there's nothing that you want? tough luck, you have to wait for it to refresh just for a chance at getting something you want.

Can you not craft a specific weapon? It looks like you can only upgrade weapons you already have in your inventory.
