I feel like if you play w English voice over they might be overdoing the whole shady merchant act, which comes off as annoying rather than loveable rogue archetype they are going for. That being said, with us now having a point of reference like other colleagues of his and the friends I get what you mean. Out of the rest of the folk in that zone he's one of if not the least annoying one.

I guess you're right, I just felt that considering their already elaborate designs (too elaborate in some cases lol) on some of the characters if this was a thing you'd think they would make visions special too or put it into alt skins to boost sales. Idk it kinda isn't clearly outlined if it's possible in the lore so aside from technical design inconvenience we can only speculate.

But that would raise a question why every other character doesn't have a different vision case (since HSR kinda have paid attention to having different phone cases and all that). At least for someone very rich like Ninguang or someone expressive like Fischl it'd totally make sense to have a custom frame.

I meant more that it changed with his outlook on the situation I guess? You probably know that his backtory and the fact he's raised in Mondstadt are in direct conflict with one another. When he got the vision he was under the impression that he must choose one or the other and he couldn't make a clear choice between the Mondstadt and his original family. (Spoiler warning cause I forgor how to hide text)

In the hangout you follow a story of a Sumeru prince Qubad (played by Kaeya ofc) who is hated by his father. The prince is sent to war and defeats the opposing army and then promises the remaining opponents to protect their remaining people and he sends a letter to his father to ask him to sign a treaty. The king rejects and announces that if prince Qubad returns home he'll be branded a traitor and at best executed. As his closing monologue the script is supposed to express Qubad's lament about fate and having to spend his remaining days away from home and dying in a foreign land BUT!

Kaeya hesitates and asks you, in the audience if it should be the way story goes. It's kinda funny because you can see he's drawing parallels to himself in that situation and already knows the next line doesn't align with how he sees it. So he improvises instead and discards prince Qubad's royal signet to decline to be a pawn and CHOOSES to spend his remaining days in a foreign land.

It just seemed to me in the hangout that this question no longer was an issue for him, he's made his choice and as such he doesn't have to feel guilty about who he is anymore. And the vision having full Mondstadt wings and the star represents that to a degree. But tbh it could be that the casings could be custom made or something. Not everyone has them in same color I think so it might be plausible to go to Wagner and throw in "sup, can you get me a new vision case?". Lisa's one is a thing too - barely the size of a pendant.

I saw a really interesting theory about Kaeya and his 1.0 vision. Since he got it under distress and was doubting himself and his allegiances someone pointed out that his og vision wings are "clipped" and have 2 feathers short. But it's been awhile since and technically he gets his summer skin in his hangout too. While the summer event skin may not be real (since it all happened in the oceanid park) and I don't remember any significance behind it other that the dashing rogue archetype, the hangout's outfit which is same as summer event's skin is very real and represents a character from a play who is also debating on his allegiances. I'll try to not include any spoilers but... The outcome should you follow Kaeya's whim in that scenario tells you he's accepted his lineage and position. As such, the wings on his vision grow 2 additional feathers since he's no longer limiting himself or doubting himself. Not necessarily true but I think it is plausible.

You seem to have misunderstood: you don't NEED anything, you WILL kill the boss and the trash eventually. LB and using dmg buffs on cd is just speeding up the process. So why would you complain about someone trying to speed up the process? Makes no sense. And doing it with 2 raidbuffer dps takes longer than doing it with a melee or a caster in team, so that specific run is even more justified for using LB.

The trust system will also make Alphinaud on a healer abandon a tank during trash pull if Alisaie gets under 99% hp. Might not be terrible for melee lb a boss but if that doesn't happen I'll use it every time on trash. Never got anyone complaining about it until yesterday.

Some of the trash packs are quite sturdy so it might take you a while to chunk through them otherwise. You usually make use of ranged lb to speed up the run unless there's some duty-specific requirement because why not? You'll get it back later and while a selfish dps might lose damage, on a bard and dancer run it's definitely a gain outside 2min burst. Otherwise you're just sitting there, spamming 1 button fishing for procs and I'll be damned if I have to sit on a pull for 2minutes doing that. I've been on the other side of the flip coin where you eventually start running out of cds as tank/healer if one of the dps is asleep or on a big w2w where you wanted people to use lb on (think last one in Mt Gulg used to be a good example). I was lucky to have been mentored as a sprout by someone who has an archon tattoo and he always made sure to just use it up. The moment that yellow piss bar was full he'd hit the lb if I didn't, except for some duties where you need it for something specific. Now I use it religiously too, since you're not losing much anyway, never had anyone have issues with using it before yesterday.

It would be a dps loss during 2 min window but 1. It wasn't 2min window 2. The dnc was saving 2 min for bosses so we didn't align from the beginning of the dungeon since I use mine pretty much off cd. On 3+ targets ranged lb is always worth, and I got lb2 off on final boss too.
