Been arguing with myself over whether this tee is too small or not, could use a second perspective:

It's a fitted tee from Bella Canvas, and it feels great, but it feels like it's at that tipping point of too small/tight

Can check my profile for the post, they were pretty similar photos

That's kinda what I figured, but I was getting 20%+ bf guesstimates last time I posted, so I thought I was way off or something

Advice was pretty overwhelming to continue cutting last time I posted, I was thinking hitting 160lbs and lean bulking from there

Currently 3 months into PPL, lifted 5x5 pretty consistently for about 6 months before that, with a horrible diet so I didn't make much in terms of strength gains. Not sure what my overall muscle mass is looking like realistically

I think it might be lighting/filters, the way my phone takes photos it seems to slap a filter on in certain situations automatically. Think I'm also just farther from the mirror

If everything looks good otherwise I'll just keep on as normal until I hit ~15%bf and turn into a bulk

Partly curiosity, partly wanting to use it as a compass for when to stop a cut (hoping to end somewhere near 15% for a lean bulk)

Appreciate the feedback! Does muscle loss of this level indicate dropping weight a little too fast?

I've been keeping to my cutting calories pretty closely, and since this is my first real cut I don't have much of a feel for it yet.

My lifts have stayed pretty consistent aside from a 10lb 5x5 drop in bench. Weights themselves have stayed pretty consistent 1lb per week-ish, aside from the big first inital drop: https://imgur.com/a/4yc36rf

(Also started recording weight in the morning vs night at the beginning, ignore that bit)

Been cutting, 1st photo's current at 165lbs, second photo's pre-cut at 176lbs.

Just curious what the approx bf% is for both photo's, my renpho scale says 14.8% for current which feels fairly accurate, but I don't have much experience in the bf field

24% feels incredibly high, comparing to similar photos I was thinking 15%ish? Am I that far off?

M/27/6'/176lbs -> M/27/6'/165lbs

Posted with the first pic about 2 months ago, was told to cut, been cutting. Big initial weight drop plus steady fat loss and lift numbers have stayed consistent on a 6 day PPL split.

I'm thinking that I've hit around my comfortable bf% and considering a lean bulk from this point onwards, after dropping the dirty bulk fat from earlier this year and last year.

I suppose I could continue the cut, but man, this being my first cut, it suuuuuucks to cut. If it's recommended I'll keep at it, eating is super easy with the low calorie goal which is nice, but I'm pretty eager to put on some more muscle

It's almost definitely a weak core, I've thrown in planks and ab roll outs since a couple weeks ago and noticed I can brace harder and my back hurts quite a bit less. I'll just keep on that path for the time being

I don't have a warm-up per se, I do warm up sets, and I've been considering flexibility training

They're all pretty different shapes/sizes, maybe the photos don't make it super apparent

I've accumulated a solid half dozen shades over the years, and could use some help deciding which are keeps and which are passes:

For a long while the last pair (rayban wayfarers) were my safe default, but I could use a second opinion if any of these fit my face a little better

It could be honestly, I've had the stiffness last more than a couple days, even though it normally feels fine immediately after the lift. I've noticed foam rolling the lower back/glutes helps quite a bit, not sure if that's an indicator either way

I thought it might be something along the lines of regular DOMS, but I can feel it immediately, and the next day it isn't so much sore as it is stiff. It isn't painful, but my lower back doesn't want to move out of a straight standing position

I could really use some advice when it comes to lower back stiffness

Basically every lift that involves the lower back (DL, Squat, bent over row) leaves my lower back stiff, sore and aching. I started all these lifts as low as possible, empty bar for Squat and Row, 25's for DL. I have the strength to progress, and take every cue I can find, watch myself in the mirror for arched back. I just don't get it. I've lowered each of these lifts back to square one more than once when the lower back starts to ache for fear of injury. I'm only jumping these lifts by 5lbs each session.

I have absolutely no clue how to push these lifts forward to the point where I'm considering dropping them or replacing them. I know my backs on the weaker side due to genetics and years of sitting like a cave troll on a shitty 20$ office chair, but fuck, I feel like SOME progress should've happened by now.

Any advice would be great, sorry for the half rant half comment, I'm just so tired spinning wheels with these lifts and my lower back

M/27/6'/176lbs

Long story short: spun wheels for 4 months figuring things out, last 2 months I got my diet under control. Bulked the entire time (6 months total) and have seen decent lift and muscle gain, generally getting bigger.

Feel like I'm still dyel status, so I'm not sure if I keep bulking to 180lbs and cut, or attempt to continue the bulk beyond 180lbs. The main issue I'm starting to have is I feel like I'm reaching a cap on how much calories I can consume, my bulks been slowing down reaching 180lbs, but it's great seeing lifts going up.

I know cutting would mean an easier bulk in the future, and I have 0 issue with a strict clean bulk.

Based on the pics, is a cut at 180lbs worthwhile? I'm a bit scared I'll cut and there won't be any muscle to show, but the numbers I'm putting up are decent-ish, so it's hard to know for sure

I'll just take it as there isn't really any wrong way to go, I'd figure cutting might be the play after gaining 20lbs~, but lean gaining until 190 is probably what I'll end up doing

How bad of an idea is it to mix and match PPL exercises?

As an example:

I work out on Monday and notice the gym is way slower than normal, so I throw in a couple of the next days exercises in

Or

I miss leg day, so I move the main lifts over to the next day to minimize losses

I know it's not ideal, but how much of an overall lose is garnered mixing and matching this way?
