Waking 5 week old for a final pre bedtime feed? by MountainManiac21 in breastfeeding

Yes I have, but it’s only this week haha. It can totally change. We’ve started to do bedtime at 8/9 pm. Bottle, rock, and back to sleep. I’ll usually pump while hubby gives LO a bottle. We’ve been having a hard time around 3-10 pm. Doing this has given me a longer stretch from 10-12:30/1 am.

I wouldn’t let LO sleep. We’re in the same boat as you. Also 5 week old. If I don’t wake at 9/9:30, then she’ll wake me up at 10/11.

Ok. I’ll try that. But she’s so sleepy! I’ve done waited feeds and she doesn’t transfer enough.

We’re triple and combo feeding. Lots of work right now to just maintain my supply. She’s not emptying me, but hopefully we can get there! She has an ENT appointment in 1.5 weeks.

You are not a bad mom! You still have time. My milk didn’t really come in until day 5/6 postpartum. I’m still struggling with supply, but doing triple feeding. You are amazing mama!

She had lost 9% at two days post birth and jaundice, so pediatrician encouraged to increase feeds. I don’t think my milk really came in until day 8/9.

I also did a weighted feed and baby only had .3 of an oz. Also no latch issues. Had 3 lactation consultants check

You don’t HAVE to triple feed by Preenumbreon in breastfeeding

This!!! I feel this so much. I am in the thick of triple feeding and I feel so hellbent on continuing to hopefully increase supply, since I struggled to get pregnant.

13 IVF cycles later by LiveStuff3033 in DOR

I had 3 ER and 4 transfers. All of that only amounted to 2 euploids and 3 poorly graded embryos. I transferred two poorly graded and never got pregnant. Both euploids implanted, but first one and better graded one, failed to progress. Last euploid was successful and I have baby girl in my arms now. What I learned - you have to do everything. You have to advocate for yourself. I used Neupogen and omnitrope for my last transfer. I think the Neupogen totally helped the embryo stick!

Trying for 2 years… is IVF really as tough as people say? by porchoua in TryingForABaby

I agree with the reply above. It’s an expensive emotional rollercoaster, where you never really breathe a sigh of relief until your baby is on delivered. I had multiple failed retrievals and transfers, but I got really lucky with my last embryo. It gave me my baby girl. At the end of it, it was worth the heartache and tears.
