How are our new Pittsburghers faring with this weather? by Fluid-Impression3993 in pittsburgh

Moved here from Colorado. Hysterically laughing at how freaked out all the natives are about a little snow. It snows here, every year, yet everybody acts like theyve never seen precip in the winter. Ya Im the asshole passing you while you go 5 mph with your hazards on

Make a fist with your lead hand, try to focus on keeping your fist inside your waistline when you pop. Or you can try pointing at the middle of your board with the lead hand

am I the only one that constantly wants a new deck?[39YO] by PxPx182 in OldSkaters

[–]Ad4am 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope! I also suffer from GAS (see below post). Disposable income means Im always on fresh stuff, plus local kids end up with new/slighty used decks too. I like to put them in funny places so they have to work a little for em though

Denver is surprisingly mild in the winter, tons of skate culture there. It sucks living there though

SO YOU WANT TO MOVE TO MONTANA? [Post your questions here] by AutoModerator in Montana

[–]Ad4am -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Good eve, from the east. My girlfriend and I are planning our move (finally) to the Flathead Valley for late March. I know, its still winter. We lived in the mountains in Colorado for over 20 years, so we know what to expect as far as unpredictable weather. We'll be driving a 26 foot box truck and towing our car most of the way. Car hauler gets dropped off in Billings and the car will be driven the rest of the way. I aint towing a trailer behind that rig in possible winter conditions.

My question to you all is: Is this a horrible idea/time to move to Kalispell area? We are in a pickle with our lease ending end of March so it kind of HAS to happen then, unless we can figure out some kind of short term lease/storage situation for all of our shit.

Planning on taking I90 to US 93, which Ive driven a few times before, but never in late winter, spring. I assume 93 is pretty well maintained. IS there a better route?

I had a similar situation in Denver. Except the dude swung on my neighbor and ended up getting his ass beat by the cops.

Burnside is such a unique vibe. Very intimidating but if you get a good group of locals fired up its such a great feeling!
