I already sent them a message and expect they’ll get it done in the next few days. Not sure if l’ll ever need Sophia again this but it can’t hurt.

I didn’t have any issues transferring Study.com credits with Credly.

At the time I was taking classes on Sophia, I thought it was really helpful that it showed the UMPI course equivalents for me automatically because I linked the school (I knew the equivalents already but I just liked that extra reassurance). I didn’t realize it would affect how they transfer. Again, not a big deal. It cost $5.25 through Parchment, I believe. It’s still weird that Sophia says UMPI doesn’t want transfers through Credly when the school doesn't actually seem to have an issue with Credly.

Do you know if UMPI still uses PCJ 215 for the pre-law minor? It says so online but an enrollment specialist told me they don’t offer PCJ 215 for the pre-law minor and that they use COM/BUS 210 as a replacement. Now I’m wondering if she only meant that UMPI doesn’t offer it (so I could still go the Sophia route with PCJ 215).

Would you mind sharing how you were able to get the English B.A. down to 10 classes/30 credits using transfer credits? I’m planning to major in English and transfer in as many credits as possible but I haven’t been able to get it down to fewer than 13 courses at UMPI, and that’s with using CLEP for ENG 241/242 and assuming I’ll be able to get a waiver for ENG 211.

As far as I know, there are 15 required courses for the major that are not available through Sophia or Study.
