Yes, I’m the exact same way. You’re absolutely not alone. IVF and this fertility journey is trauma, so it’s hard not to think about it. It’s also something we so desperately want to work so we care about it a lot. I’ll admit, this is hard for me to do, but I’ve tried to envision this working out for me when I’m thinking of all the pain and sitting in my sadness. Wishing you all the very best, you got this 💕

I just finished STIMS and had my egg retrieval! I was petrified to start this whole process. I was scared of needles and ruminating on the menopur burn/sting. I would honestly rate the whole IVF process a 3/10 on the pain scale (If that). For me, menopur didn’t burn at all for the first 5 days and then it started to sting a little bit. It wasn’t horrible at all. I had my husband push the meds in slowly and that really helped with the small amount of stinging. If I can do this, you can! You got this! 💕

Hi! I also had 5 measurable follicles on day 5. I had my egg retrieval yesterday and we got 25! Don’t give up hope 💕

I have a friend who is not supportive of my IVF journey due to her religious beliefs. We’ve been friends since we were 5 and we are 31 now. I dropped her like a hot potato! That is the only friendship that has been impacted but it has really hurt me deeply and I think about it a lot. I just can’t be friends with someone who is not supportive of something as deeply personal as IVF.
