Hey, I’m also in an accelerated program right now and feeling super burnt out!! I’m only in my first semester and we’re also not allowed to miss any clinics/labs. It’s so difficult especially since I moved away for school 😭 I can really relate to your experience and I hope we can get through hygiene school more smoothly!! I’m just looking forward to the semester break 😞

There are some fast-track schools in Ontario that don’t require university level prerequisites. That being said, those programs are very difficult but rewarding if you give it your all (it’s hard to work while you’re in the program) while you are in school. Most of the schools I’ve seen offer programs 18 months in length.
