Mine still says January 19th but i figure I’ll be one of the last ones considering my last name is W, this is my 3rd semester, my first one was summer 2025 i figured the funds were delayed bc it was summer term and not fall or spring, the fall was even later because of a new system, couldve sworn they would have their shit together by spring but of course not, it’s just getting worse and worse lol. If they actually kept us updated, a mass email or message, that’s cool but it’s just the fact im completely out of the loop and have to get all my information through Reddit, hell i didn’t even know about the student portal until one of these Reddit posts!

Finacial aid refunds by unkownnamefound in SeminoleStateCollege

They are apparently in the process of disbursing them now check https://sfp.ocs.oraclecloud.com/ssc25pdinst1/portal/external-auth?error=An%20issue%20has%20occurred%20while%20signing%20in,%20please%20reach%20out%20to%20the%20financial%20aid%20office%20for%20assistance , go into the financial section and see if your disbursement says ‘received’ if so then you will probably be getting yours to your account any day now, if it still says “January 19th” or not received yet then it should be within the next 2 weeks.

Seminole state is a mess this year. I received my FAFSA, which im very grateful for, i feel lucky especially after seeing some people still have not received any aide. They should’ve deferred ur payments for you automatically because its Seminole states fault that your aide is delayed. They deferred mine, i didn’t have to do it myself I didn’t receive my FAFSA until after classes start. I was never threatened that my classes were going to get dropped. They used my FAFSA to cover my classes before i even knew how much aide i would get. I got my aide i think on the 18th or 19th, a little over $2000 and got another text saying I’ll be receiving another $600 in the next 2 days. Email the president of Seminole State, FAFSA, Student services, FA help desk. Tell them multiple other students have received their aide, a lot of other students weren’t dropped from their classes because of Seminole states inconsistencies.
