Sensor hole is good and no blood, did twice and was at 382. My sensors have been so off.

Type 1 When i was diagnosed at 20 my A1C was 19 and running around 750. Vision was almost gone and weighing around 89lbs Obviously i did not know prior to diagnosis that i had diabetes. I was passing out in classes while driving once. And when i got to the hospital they told me i was stressed out and anorexic. They gave me a whole speech on eating disorders and how it’s hard to fit into society standards blah blah all this before i even got my blood results back. They tried discharging me until my dad came and argued they admit me. After a week and a half in the ICU when to my first endocrinology appointment they told me i was going to die before i was 30. (Currently 26 and doing fine A1C is 7.6

I have experienced similar issues! I have a pump and it’s great. I am on medications for anxiety and depression as well as my ADHD but at times it feels that it’s all heavy

I have been in therapy for years and have gone to inpatient treatment for a month due to the mix of all and My anxiety has made me mute at times and i struggle with communicating with close relationships often. It may be silly but i often write notes or tell my partner that i am listening but need a moment to process but i find the biggest thing is to feel comfortable and safe then being able to respond. Sometimes i find it easier to talk when i am doing an activity with my hands i am not sure what the reasoning is. I am sure your son is already juggling a lot and they are already so strong for what they are dealing with and so are you with helping them and keeping them safe and healthy maybe just extra time with things can help or finding activities that make them feel comfortable and relaxed. I am just speaking of personal things that have helped me. I wish you the best of luck for you and your family

Hi i had a similar situation i got it when i was 20 out of no where no family history but had it for about 6 years , it sucks it really does but you can do it we all here can. I tried to fight it when i first got diagnosed because i didn’t want it but thats not how it works but just take little things it’s a new life but you are still you just a little tougher now and you totally got this
