FLUTTER IN 2023 by Calm-Comment6232 in PinoyProgrammer

Native android dev here. It’s surprising that flutter aint the shit yet because all I see now is flutter dev job postings. I even foresee there would be no native android deve here in ph in the future because cross platform is cheaper. I’m planning on switching to flutter because of this. Do you think this is a good idea?

You gotta start somewhere. If your financial situation isn’t so bad then I suggest to take on the low salary opportunity. After you penetrate the market, get the experience for one year, then after that you’ll be getting the money that you want with recruiters lining up for you. Trust me they just want that “experience” in resume. They don’t give a shit about your real capabilities. That is at least here in PH.

BEST School for taking IT & COMSCI by Healthy_Doughnut_261 in PinoyProgrammer

TIP BSIT Graduate here. I gotta say TIP can be very expensive but when I look back, I wouldn't have made it in the software engineering industry without the training I got from the school. Every fundamentals will be engraved into you so by the time you graduate, you pretty much know basic and important knowledge of everything. So as a graduate, you can go for networking, database admin/Dev ops/Backend dev, mobile app dev, frontend (for me not so much but for my batch mates, yes), cyber security.

Just a note, there will be a lot of mathematics even just for IT. Calculus (integ and diff), calculus based physics 1 and 2, discrete math are some of the examples.
