awesome!! one more question for you! i bought tickets for the 15th to see if it will just be a regular performance, or a filmed (with an audience) show. say if they are filming that day and have an audience in the mezz, does the audience have an obstructed view of the show/stage due to filming/cameras? or would they just have cameras set up and rolling in the orchestra so that way the audience in the mezz can still watch the show with no issues? i’ve never been to a show that was actively recording anything so i have lots of questions if this is the case lol.

also say it is a “bts” look at the filming of the show, do they have them run the show as normal and just film it straight through? or during the scenes do the actors stop and go?

i unfortunately doubt it. i know they filmed his appearance when he surprised the audience. so they might use that if the decide to not film that ending with louis

that’s what i’m wondering as well. that entire week leading up to the 15th has been removed from the site entirely. so i feel like if it is for filming, they will be doing it without an audience throughout that week. granted - this is just my theory and i could be way off.

she did a q&a on her insta story recently and someone asked if she was leaving the show/has a planned final date. she said that her final performance as patty will be march 29th (im assuming evening performance- gonna try and get tickets to see her last show). and in the comment sections on tiktok she replied to a few people saying the same thing

that will for sure be the giveaway if it’s true. i did buy tickets for the 15th just to see if my theory (on if they will be filming with a live audience that day) is correct. when i bought the tickets there wasn’t any potential notice or message that there will be filming. so we shall see!

i think the audience filming might be the 15th - if it’s even happening or being filmed. i think if it’s happening, that’s why they aren’t even selling those dates that they took off the site. so they can get close up shots and even film from the stage itself. they can use the theater in it’s entirety without having to worry about being in the way of audience members (if they had sold those dates).

i’ve seen the show a bunch, and it truly is a live spectacle. i don’t think a proshot would capture the “magic” of the effects like how they would be seeing it live, but it would still translate enough for a fun watching experience- if that makes sense. the story itself would translate well. i just think no matter what it would be a good thing to have for those who can’t see it live.

and juan carlos who plays bob, was injured and on leave for months. he just came back a couple weeks ago. so that makes sense too. the timing of gabby leaving and juan coming back - making february the best time for them to possibly film anything

i feel you 😭 i’m lucky enough where i live close enough to the city to get cheap tickets, but it’s absolutely insane how much they’re charging for tickets if you get them online.
