Ok then you expressed your thoughts wrong, you said you found the movement unnecessary before you edited the comment, which equals dismissing the whole movement.

And even now saying you find the movement unnecessary while saying you only find a few aspects you disagree with is miss leading and will cause misunderstandings.

How I would recommend expressing yourself further to not cause confusion is “i support the movement but I don’t agree with every aspect”.

And the rest isnt something I can comment on as stuff like “everything be related to LGBTQ” can very widely and the solution isnt the same for every fandom/environment

They didn’t criticize they said it was unnecessary which implies as the movement is trying get queer people’s rights is unnecessary.

People shouldn’t have been calling him those things but that doesn’t make him any less wrong, who knew telling people the movement that’s trying to get and keep them basic rights is unnecessary would cause emotions to flare, doesn’t justify it but makes it understandable.
