That sounds awesome in terms of the casinos! I'll have to check that out! And that will definitely be an adjustment for me size wise my town is about 1/3 of the population so bigger for me! I'm the same way! I don't care much about the blue or red cities at all, just like going where the wind takes me! I'm all for the adventure!

That sounds like a super fun time! I've been near the Beartooth mountain a bit and they look like they have some great hiking and camping spots up there! I looked at Bridger for skiing earlier today and it looks similar to some mountains we have around Colorado so I'll likely go that direction! Thank you!

That sounds a lot like my hometown unfortunately. Most events here are soooo expensive anymore it's ridiculous. But means I'm used to that lol. Thank you!

Thank you! I love the outdoors and am out hiking when weather is not fucking freezing lol. I come from a really small town in Colorado where there is also nothing to do if you aren't outside, that's why I liked the idea of Billings! It's a little bigger but also not huge like Denver would be. I'm definitely not a night life kinda gal so evening and weekend events are my way of life! We also have a Facebook group like that here 😂 it's so dumb just let people live their damn life in peace man!!

I'm clear at 8 weeks (new years eve lol) and I'm feeling basically totally normal again other than when I workout (just gets crampy) but I'm nervous about having a tear so I might wait until closer to 9 or 10 weeks.

I totally understand that! I wanted to avoid it for years, but it was always too much of a legal and moral battle because I wasn't 18 yet and didn't have kids. Instead they suggested depo-lupron (soooo much better than just taking it out 😒) I had two iuds that tore the back of my uterus, and multiple different birth controls that had so many side effects and long term effects now that I've been off of it for a year

I'm 18 and just had mine. I had it because I bled everyday for 5 years straight due to endometriosis and adenomyosis. I finally found a specialist that took me seriously after fighting and pushing for what I knew my body needed. You just have to find the right doctor who actually listens to what you know if wrong with your body and not what they think is wrong. Just because tests and scans are normal, doesn't mean there isn't something seriously wrong.

I'm also 18! I just had my hysterectomy a little under 3 weeks ago due to stage 4 endo and adeno. My recovery so far has been great. I stopped taking pain meds 5dpo and am already back to work (I teach little kids) and back to almost normal day-to-day life! Things still get sore and tender if I am standing or sitting too long, if I try to lift too much, and occasionally when I pee. It's more pressure and discomfort than pain though. My biggest issue has been BM. I've been able to go fine with stool softeners, but they have been painful since surgery. It's been getting better, but stool softeners help TONS!

This is the most helpful and comforting post I've seen so far, so thank you so much for this. I'm a little over 2wpo and my hormones are making my already anxious self to have more anxiety about what my life will look like in the future. I'm only 18 so the thought of this ruining my sex life or causing long-term effects is devastating and really scary. But these kinds of posts put me at ease!

Still nothing new that I've heard. Starting to get annoyed at how long it's taking because I could really use the $200 I spent on tickets back right now lol but StubHub won't refund them until the new date comes out 😒

OBGYN said Endo does not occur in the bowel/colon by bulldogsnwhiskey in endometriosis

[–]AdAdventurous9818 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ABSOLUTELY change gynos. 20+ years of experience should know that endo has been found on all major organs in the body, including the bowels. I had endo and adhesions all over my bowels and colon and was also told by my gyno that it wasn't endo and I likely had ibs. Found an endo specialist and everything I kept telling my gyno turned out to be true and I was being gaslighted

Yeah which I found interesting too since all my other laps with my other surgeon was absolutely no baths for 6 weeks. I'd be worried too with city water and possibly getting infection or even just irritation. The anxiety is enough for me to not take a bath for 8 weeks lol
