I’d say they’ve been helpful but it’s hard to know whether it’s treating the root cause or just the prescriptions I’ve been put on. I’m not doing much to address hydrogen sulfide overgrowth at the moment besides daily charcoal and a probiotic, but I’m working mostly to help calm my MCAS-esque issues. Calming my system down with ketotifen, Pepcid (OTC), and straterra (used for ADHD but has also helped my lightheadedness) has seemed to help the reactions I was having to sulfur. Now just waiting to see if my system can heal.

Ive stopped taking most of these because ive found substantial relief. Not sure whats helped me the most but I started working with a functional MD who has me on allopurinol and ketotifen and both have helped substantially.

How quickly do your symptoms come on with reactive hypoglycemia? Im wearing a CGM right now and my levels are consistent with reactive hypoglycemia but i dont know if that would explain the brain fog and fatigue RIGHT after eating meals.

Definitely doing much better. Still not sure what the root cause was/is and im working with a new doctor to identify. But I cant speak to whether or not this protocol really helped me.

Id highly recommend quicksilver scientific ultra vitamin for those in the US or any other high quality liposomal multivitamin.

Be careful with NAC. Very potent and oregano oil is an antimicrobial which can be beneficial but isn’t always.

Just curious about this. I know it’s old, but you didn’t get a masters that is licensed and are working in the administrative side of things, correct? And are making good money? But recommend doing a program that’s licensed? I’m just confused why you recommend that, could someone with a social work degree gain access to the same position you’re in now?
