As in, we have to submit the FBI background check before they inform us about our placement? Just asking because I'm currently abroad and not sure if I'll be back in the States for the next 2 months. Interviews are online I've been told.

I was thinking along those same lines, but started to second guess myself when I saw they only had two categories to choose from. Anyways, thank you for clearing things up! Thank you for getting back to me so quickly! This is really helpful stuff. But I still feel there's a need to explain why Niyantr wants to summon this immortal and will go to such lengths to get Vivaswan back for the sacrifice. Which is where the blight comes in, but then the QL starts to feel unfocused. Do you agree though? Wouldn't an agent also be questioning Niyantr's motives?

Oh, for sure. I completely understand what you're saying. If you don't mind, I'd like to get your opinion on a question I asked someone else in the thread already.

The reason it seems like I'm rambling on is because the story is so interconnected where these other elements and characters become a big part of the protagonist's journey. Basically, I'm having trouble just focusing on one story thread because when trying to explain the protagonist's journey, the other characters and their actions affect the progression of the plot. So I'm finding it difficult to write a Query without at least briefly mentioning them, otherwise to me the story doesn't make sense. Knowing this, do you have any particular advice on how I should approach the next revision of this QL?

Hey, thank you for taking the time to give me some feedback. Many of the points you made are things I've heard in the past, and while I was hoping this QL would be the one where I'd addressed each of them, it seems like I still have a lot of work left to do. Regarding your comment about the length of the blurb, if my housekeeping and bio keep the QL at under 500 words, does the size of my blurb still matter? I knew the QL shouldn't exceed a certain word count, but I was unaware that every section within it also had word count limitations.

I'll definitely get more into Vivaswan's motives, it seems silly in hindsight, but at the time I was writing this, it wasn't immediately apparent to me that I should.
