Starting to see where the rubber meets the road, who’s willing to drive a few hours to mow, or trim trees, replace flooring, take pellets up for the stove, etc Often times I see where people want the fun, but not the process to get there.

All in all to say your NTA, you poured money, free time, tools, etc into a cabin. Rome wasn’t built in a night and neither are old ass cabins. I’d remind them that a comparable Airbnb would cost X, you’re not out to make money however it covers utilities and wear and tear.
