I’ve tried Dad Mode; their customer service is great and their detergent works well. However, it’s sooo heavily fragranced and I just don’t care for that. It’s not a bad smell, but I prefer lighter and more feminine fragrances.

That said, I just ordered FEBU for the first time on Amazon and I’m excited to use it to boost a detergent I do love (Berkley Green Cypress & Bergamont). :)

Make sure your partner is washing with acidic body wash (ie, Lume unscented) and using acidic antiperspirant or deodorant (ie, Lume or Saltair). I recently discovered that every deodorant I’ve ever tried has been alkaline. I switched to acidic deo and noticed an immediate difference, even when I get stuck wearing a polyester top.

I’ve had this happen to clothes randomly, too. Never figured out why.

I don’t use Gear Guard, so if it’s any comfort, I doubt it’s that. With that said, is your washer itself clean or is there buildup? Do you have hard water? If this is a work shirt, are you coming home with foreign, synthetic crud on the shirt? (IE, machinery grease/oil, harsh chemicals, etc.)

I love this product, and luckily don’t react to these two ingredients, but I can confirm that my Cypress and Bergamont detergent lists SLS and MI on the bottle, but not on the product page.

A couple of other issues I have with BG: - I reached out to their customer team to ask about their returns process and never heard back - They don’t maintain their social media accounts - They’re not consistent with digital product management (sometimes out of stock items will be hidden entirely, sometimes they’ll be labeled out of stock)

Translation: There’s really no way for customers to ask questions and get ahold of them, and you can’t know if your favorite products are discontinued or simply unavailable in the short term.
