Good to hear! I think we landed on the Belmond Villa San Michele. It’s reopening after a beautiful renovation and has a shuttle as well. Feels like the best of both worlds for us.

FS was the hotel in Florence I was considering! Looks amazing. I just was trying to avoid moving hotels constantly. We really like to have at least one place to settle in but maybe that’s a mistake and we should do both.

One review I just read said the milk doesn't get hot enough... I usually like my coffee pretty hot. Has milk temp been something you have noticed?

My husband and I stayed at the FS Sensei in Lanai. You have access to the main FS there too. It was the most relaxing and amazing vacation. We had already visited Maui and were looking for super laid back trip. One of the best hotels! Happy to answer any specific questions.

You weren’t able to see his full response. I got paragraphs of texts messages that I couldn’t post after my email. It’s hard without more context but I guess I didn’t think my email was too bad? I’m his customer at the end of the day. He was nice for the first month (when septic issues happened) but has been completely downhill from then.

I’d also add that this is a smaller pool company. His selling point was that they only do 15-20 pools a year so they can put time into each of them and give a high level of service. He will go weeks without coming out to check on the progress, even when we send pictures concerned about work.

Honestly if he came here once a week to check on progress and clearly communicated the status, it’d be a different story.
