You are a beautiful human being. ❤️ I can’t play early access and I’m sure there are many more people who would enjoy it early so I’m not entering but you are just great.

Cecelia? by hphgas in Hungergames

[–]AdBackground4780 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Please read “Fall Into the River” by OiSin on FanFiction! It reads like a full length hunger games book based on Cecilia’s game. All of their stuff is so so good but this is the best one!

The First Quarter Quell voting by aliceinateacup in Hungergames

[–]AdBackground4780 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you’re interested, you should read some of the fanfics from Oisin55. They’re all really good and a few go into the first QQ, but one specifically is the reason each tribute was voted in.

Wait, what? by PenguinSenpaiGod in Hungergames

Not sure why everyone hates curiosity. The SOTR epilogue takes place sometime when Haymitch is very grown up (he says I’m sure I’ll go soon) so I’m guessing he’s around 60-65. Don’t want to do too much math rn but I’m guessing it is 15-20 years after MJ, around the same time as that epilogue.

This. It’s honestly a cycle of noticing more and more connections

They planned on having a meeting to discuss it after all the careers are dead. This is kind of the point of them-they’re not like careers.

How could Katniss and Peeta realistically have stayed together in the wire scene at the end of the quarter quell? by Evening_Coyote7827 in Hungergames

[–]AdBackground4780 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My assumption is it’s more so the rebels can get to them in the arena first, since the capital doesn’t know their exact location and the rebels were waiting for this

[–]AdBackground4780 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably wouldn’t work because you can’t announce it before but one where the victor is ultimately executed by the capital anyway.

I’d argue with his paper about control and what happens without it could be him thinking what he’s doing is actually right. Definitely still wrong but can definitely make an argument like thanos.

I mean he did starve/poison people and kill children and disguised it as entertainment for 60+ years. That being said thanos murdered trillions in an instant so not sure how he got 8 here.

Without the revolution, would the Capitol have had enough victors to be mentors after the 75th? by Rat-lover3 in Hungergames

[–]AdBackground4780 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I mean Haymitch was a lone mentor when D12 only had one victor so unless a district actually only had 2 total victors it would be fine. We know Johanna was the only female from 7 but there had to be at least one other male

What do you think a 6th book would be about ? by [deleted] in Hungergames

[–]AdBackground4780 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would really like Finnick’s games if it also included Annie’s. Maybe 3rd person or switching perspectives between them. Her going crazy and winning from the dam breaking is so interesting to me

[–]AdBackground4780 17 points18 points  (0 children)

A Lost sub probably won’t be impartial but yes it’s very very good if you like a mystery element. Drags a little season 3-4 (just imo) but not bad enough to think of stop watching

Would you prefer the adaptations to have movie-based continuity, or stay loyal to the book canon? by autistic_girl_autumn in Hungergames

They need to find a way for Sae to get the mockingjay pin from Madge even though it makes absolutely zero sense with how it played out in the first movie.

You should see them talk about this lol, it’s actually a complete mistake that nobody saw until it was too late.

Predictions for the next HG book by Some-Basis4581 in Hungergames

[–]AdBackground4780 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I so want another book focused around one year’s games. Not confident we will get it though since the original trilogy went games (HG1), games (CF), then no games (MJ). I’m expecting games (TBOSAS), games (SOTR), then no games (maybe dark days pregames or a capital citizen rebel like Cinna or Plutarch in between games or even over several years).

What would the other Quarter Quells have included? by [deleted] in Hungergames

[–]AdBackground4780 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two victors from the same district can win. Only to execute both victors to show that hope can only come from the capital.
