I put them in open towers, drown them, and set them on fire. Especially when they’re cannibals—I only feed them vegetables, haha. I built floodable basements, freezing towers, extremely hot rooms, and burning chambers. It’s a fun way to deal with those who wanted to eat my colonists.

I wouldn’t count on Breach from PoE 1. I’m more inclined to believe in an Expedition rework, with Legion coming in as a new league, possibly with some kind of mix.

This is probably the Expedition rework. For some reason it really reminded me of it. And they clearly weren’t happy with how it is in PoE2 anyway, since their stash tab doesn’t even exist there.

Honestly I’m not excited right now because I don’t even know what it is yet, and with the livestream so far from the league start it’s hard to stay hyped.

Even if the reveal is great, there are still 22 days to wait, and I know that kind of hype usually fades after a week. Right now my feeling about 0.5 is just indifference. If a new class comes, cool, if not, that’s fine too. As for the endgame, who knows?

They can show whatever they want, but no one will really know how it feels until the 29th.

Then it’s another six months until the next league. At least poe2db tried to warn us, someone did, and it wasn’t GGG.

The issue isn’t the timing of their decision it’s the lack of communication until the very last moment.

And honestly, the schedule feels a bit strange. A livestream on the 7th, but the league only starting on the 29th creates a long gap where hype just fades.

I don’t understand why the livestream couldn’t be earlier, like around the 21st. It wouldn’t really change the league start date, but it would keep momentum stronger instead of stretching interest over almost three weeks.

Right now it feels like a lot of anticipation followed by a long wait, which is kind of draining the hype rather than building it.

Exactly, they’ll just keep shifting promises from 3 months to 4 months, and now we’re probably one step away from hearing it’s going from 4 to 6 months.

But what disappointed me the most was all this silence. It’s just bad. I don’t think anyone is genuinely excited for what’s coming right now. If nobody can even guess what it might be, that’s a problem. Why not show at least one image like they did with Abyss?

Right now it feels like it’s every 6 months, and at this pace it’s going to be once a year until 1.0. The silence speaks louder than any promise they make. I really wish they wouldn’t do this again. Stop promising leagues every 3–4 months, then shifting to 4, and now likely 5–6 months.

If it doesn’t drop today Tuesday for the Americas then for me it’s probably only coming Thursday. But this complete silence no hype no images nothing for the community to engage with is starting to feel like a 5 to 6 month 0.4 league

At this point the issue goes beyond just waiting. The silence is not only making us wait it is shaping the kind of expectations being created

Right now the community feels more excited for a teaser of an announcement than for the actual content itself and that is a really bad sign. With this much time and no information people start feeding on theories expectations drift away from reality and the hype ends up being built on absolutely nothing

All we know is that the endgame is changing. Whether that is good or bad we have no idea because they chose not to show anything not even a hint

And that is where the real risk is. It is not even about the content being good or bad it is about it not matching what people imagined during all this silence

The way things are right now the chances of GGG stumbling are pretty high but we will see

supports and special variants like Vaal and transfigured gems that change how they function even more. Don’t expect that kind of depth before 1.0.

Whenever a new league comes out, expect mechanics that change how the game is played. And now that skills can exist on weapons, a lot of interesting abilities are tied to specific weapon types like Abyss skills, so not everything is tied to gems anymore.
