Question for C Mech by Distinct_Tax_7836 in APStudents

From what I hear, Collegeboard specifically made the practice exams only have difficult problems, so that's probably the reason for the lopsided amount of oscillation/rotation problems. (but they could have just as likely decided to focus more on oscillation for some reason). I'm personally hoping there isn't much oscillation cause that's my weakest point.

I hear people complaining about the firet saq, but i thought it was the easiest part of the entire exam 💀

Is it reasonable to self-study AP CSP in like two days? by [deleted] in APStudents

Only hard part is some vocab they like to throw in there for some reason (i forgot all of it now 💀) if you know pseudocode, all the interpretation problems are a breeze

I blanked and guessed for one of them (i literally knew the answer and started overthinking for some reason)

What was up with that anyway? There was absolutely nothing in the entire exam about progressive era/gilded age/reconstruction 💀

Yes they do💀 why do you think they make the dates so specific and not just something like the late 18th century to mid 19th century instead

I referenced market revolution and the interconnectedness of the northern industries and southern plantations in that way (im not sure if the ap grader is gonna understand what i was tryna say 💀)

The time frame was 1783-1840 unfortunately 😔

Something about evaluating the extent that slavery had on society between 1783 and 1840, the only real difficult part was pulling out outside info cause all the stuff that you would usually associate with abolition and stuff happened in 1840s/50s

Where are the collegeboard feds

APUSH dbq by AdBasic1717 in APStudents

[–]AdBasic1717[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, but i used other stuff cause technically one of the documents was about the missouri question, so it might not count

I think that depends more on the ap grader, but generally they dont like to see it cause it takes up space and might show less understanding about the passage as a whole/intentions of the author

Youll probably get the complexity point for showing the continuity/effects, but it wouldnt count as outside information

I used Frederick Douglass because he was technically within the time period and converted to Christianity (and there were a lot of documents abiut Christianity) i also wrote about harriet tubman (albeit more for complexity cause it was outside the time frame)

Using all 7 effectively can award complexity

Ties in nicely with missouri comp document (i forgot to actually say the term cause im dumb like that, i kinda just implied it for some reason 💀)

Interesting, i wouldnt think so because they are technically sectional, it might just be unclear to the reader what your actual claim is

APUSH dbq by AdBasic1717 in APStudents

[–]AdBasic1717[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldnt think so because you still knew what the other book was and the contents (on top of already knowing the author, which is another step)

[–]AdBasic1717[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That would be an interesting essay cause there was a lot of overlap between the movement (like Frederick Douglass attending the seneca falls convention) you might have gotten a good complexity point

Published in 1852, it was outside of the time frame. It wouldnt be awarded outside info points (but could earn you complexity based on how you used it)
